  1. 252:365 - canon a-1: yesterday, i got all my old cameras in the mail. that is, two Canon AE-1s, a Canon A-1 (all with matching 50mm lenses), two 80-200mm lenses, a 135mm lens, a 2x converter, two flashes, and set of magnifying filters. the problem is, each one of the camera bodies does not work, each in it’s own special way. on one, the shutter simply won’t depress, on another the picture count just shoots back to 20 instead of S, and on the other everything seems to work just fine until i take my film to get developed and it’s blank. at least i think that’s what’s wrong with each of them. i always forget, and then run film through each of them to find out, and then i never get around to getting them fixed and i forget all over again. but this time will be different. there’s a place very close by that gives free repair estimates on cameras, and as soon as i fix my sleep schedule i’m totally there. today i woke up at 4pm. yuck.
