Weirdly enough, my last mushroom trip (and my last trip on anything) seemed to hyperactivate my “pathological brooding”. I spent the entire trip fighting off this tremendous cycle of terrible thoughts about my childhood and my parents and how I was alone in the world with no one to help or protect me.
